Bombshell Katrina Kaif is an British-Indian heroine who is working in Bollywood since 2003 and now established herself as a leading contemporary actress of Indian Film Industry. She was born to a British mother, Susanna Turquotte and NRI Kashmiri father, Mohammed Kaif, on 16th July 1984 in Hong Kong.
Katrina knocked the Bollywood’s door through her debut film Boom, directed by Kaizaad Gustad. Although Katrina was starred with Bollywood’s top actor Amitabh Bachchan, Jakie Shroff, Gulshan Grover and Javed Jaffery and exposed her body, but it could not help to save Boom to become a box office bomb. After two years wait, in 2005, Katrina acted in two movies, ‘Sarkar’ with Abhishek Bachchan and ‘Maine Pyar Kyu Kiya’ with Salman Khan, and generated a genuine fan following.
She rose to fame with Akshay Kumar starrer block-buster hit film ‘Namaste London’ in which she was praised for her acting skills not just for her beauty. Success of films such as Partner, Welcome, Race, Singh is King and New York established her in Bollywood as top class actress. Ek Tha Tiger is new movie of Katrina Kaif, starring opposite Salman Khan. It’s a Bollywood romantic thriller movie, produced by Aditya Chopra under Yashraj Films and directed by Kabir Khan. Unattainable beauty Katrina portrayed character of Zoya, love interest of Tiger (Salman Khan). It’s Salman Khan’s first venture with Yashraj Films in his film career and was signed for a very high fees, 
32 crores (US$6.38 million) for the movie.
‘Ek Tha Tiger‘ is Director Kabir Khan’s third film with Yashraj Banner and second film with Katrina Kaif after film ‘New York’.
